Welcome to Defence Force Discipline Appeal Tribunal website which provides information about the Tribunal, its history, current practice and decisions.

The Defence Force Discipline Appeal Tribunal was established under the Defence Force Discipline Appeals Act 1955 and hears and determines appeals from courts martial and Defence Force magistrates in respect of service offences by Australian Defence Force personnel.

This website is currently under review and will be updated shortly to reflect the changes introduced by the Defence Force Discipline Appeals Regulations 2026, which commence on 1 October 2026.
